If I could I would not even give 1 star to then. . Jenny tran at the east bluff Newport Beach is the pharmacist gave wrong information over the phone. She said both of medication is ready and each $10 copay. I was really sick in the bed got ready and drove there and totally all wrong my medications were not ready and one was $10 the other one was almost $300. I wanted to talk to her and they keep passing me to a different line and when it was my turn she was so busy to talk to me. She briefly came by and said I have lots of patient waiting for me. I was mad and I said this is not fair and she said I’m busy. Very poor and bad customer service. I would not use this pharmarcy.

Hit and miss. Avoid Jenny if you can, unless you enjoy being on hold, lied to, and having to resort to calling the corporate help center

We love going there. We were getting helped at the store from Renada, everything was great. Until who seem to be the "boss" passing by while the lady is helping us. The manager talked rudly twice to his coworker(working with us) telling her to go to lunch. He totally ignored us twice (customers) he didn't even say hi or smile, so disrespectful. I had to speak to him one to one(away from my friend) to tell him that this is not right and I didn't want to embarrass him in front of people. He end up apologizing to me like giving me lip service (sorry but people are not dumb). He should've apologized to my friend and his Hard-working employee not only me! My friend and I were disturbed for couple of hours after that. It is very unacceptable how we were all treated poorly both us and his coworker.

I’ve been there so many times and they never open after 9 PM! Not sure if staff sneaky out without reporting to the public? Put a sign on the door at least to inform the neighborhood! Why this CVS store even exist in Newport Beach? How about shut it down!

My local CVS was out of a new medication for me but called to apologize, saying it was nowhere to be found in our area. While on the phone he said “wait a minute I have an idea”. A few minutes later he called and said East Bluff says they have it and are filling it right away and I can have it in half an hour. I waited until today but am so impressed with this store. Clean, well lit, spacious, people friendly and several employees working in Pharmacy so I didn’t wait long at all. Everyone had a mask and we were 6 feet apart. When I picked up my prescription I was asked if I wanted a flu shot! Yes, of course, didn’t even know they were out. I waited 3 minutes to do paperwork and another 3 to get the shot by a Pharmacist and I was Out the door. Very impressed and felt I should share. This store is to be commended.

I have never had a negative experience with CVS until now. I came trying to get my prempro prescription refilled because I get these sever hot flashes. They told me I had to pay 192.00 because of my insurance. When I called my insurance they told me it was CVS. So, I’ve been suffering for a whole month. Now they gave me provera with a $30 fee. This is a lot better than 192. What I don’t understand they know hot flashes can be very crippling why didn’t they offer me this a month ago? Round 2: When I get to the CVS again to pick up the prescription they told me that my primary insurance was still appearing. So, contacted the insurance company to see if what they were telling me was correct. The Insurance company told me it was showing up as cancelled. I called the number CVS gave me and it came up as showing only 1 insurance. I called CVS again to let them know and he said it was nothing he can do it was still showing up in there system as primary, an insurance I no longer have. He told me again I needed to call Medi-Cal, something I have never needed to do in the past. Very upset now, I played his game again I contacted Medi-Cal following the prompts which clearly says, I don’t have any other current insurance. Apparently they don’t take women issues serious enough. I should not have to be going back and forth like this. They need to get their act together. I have never been this upset. Part 3: Once again they have given me incorrect information. I called corporate and they said I shouldn’t be doing their job. Lesson learned don’t trust these people to handle your prescription because it may cost you your life. If there are any other women being harassed by the men working there, know that it is them and not you!

This place is a joke! The pharmacists here are the definition of community college, average, barely passed their classes examples of human beings. True geniuses. They put you on hold for 30 minutes at a time. They mess up prescriptions, yes you heard me MESS UP PRESCRIPTIONS. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE????. Kevin and Anthony are a liability to CVS. The fact of the matter is they don't care and they are going to get your loved one or yourself sick.

This review is for the experiences Ive had when calling the pharmacy. When I call simply to refill a prescription where I didn’t have the rx number, they don’t answer the phone at all. I would be on hold for 10+ minutes and then give up. I wouldn’t have to speak to anybody if their automated phone system wasn’t so horrible. I’m not sure if this was just this CVS, but I’m never going to this one again. There is no drive through and everyone is very rude. You can tell the staff is unhappy.

Amazing service. Doctor prescribed too much, but I only found out two days later. I went back to CVS and they couldn't take the medicine back, but they gave cash back anyway (even though it was the doctors mistake).

The friendliness of the cashiers carries all the way through the highly qualified and prompt service pharmacists. Jenny, Jonathan and the rest of their staff go above and beyond to know me by name, assist me in obtaining cost saving coupons and timely delivery of my perscrptios. Thank you to a great team.
