Recently had a very rewarding experience with South Bay Credit Union. August last year I refinanced my automobile thru the credit union with Sarah Aguilar at 23%. I was financed thru the car dealer at 28%. Sarah told me if I brought my score up I could refinance again. I did just that and, to her word, she refinanced for me once again at 8%! I also had an unsecured loan I had taken for $4,300 at 23%. She refinanced that loan for me as well at 13%! The savings I will have over the percentages of both loans brought down to the incredible percentage will provide me with the opportunity of actually making payments and the majority of the payments going to the principal rather than 90% interest. Thank you Sarah Aguilar!!!! I would strongly recommend South Bay Credit Union to any and all. You get the personal care everyone deserves. ~Mary

We are always greeted by name and with a smile by everyone in the branch! It never feels like a generic bank experience in the branch. We asked for a commercial loan and it was the fastest loan processing we have ever had! They are also one of the only banks who DO NOT HAVE A prepay penalty! We said goodbye to 40 years of Wells Fargo after they had the gall to deny a 40%LTV loan on our house that has been free and clear since we bought it. By the way, we didn't get a penny out, we paid off a loan on our other property! So glad we are with Farmer's and Merchants Bank!!! ~M.

Showed up because they opened n hour earlier. What a waste of time. The rude teller told me that she could not give do a cashiers check because the funds i deposited didn’t “hard clear”. What the heck does that mean. The balance was avail and I could get cash and use the card the teller stated. She was wrong of course as My usual branch opened and I was all to complete transaction without issue or any mention of a “hard Clear”. This branch seems to be run by rude and uneducated people. Definitely do not want them handing my money. Unsafe. ~Jeff
