Luxurious Nails

This has become my favorite place for nails. I have small fingernails and usually I steer clear of doing my nails just because they are so small and in the past other nail salons in Marin have done a horrible job. But! the women at this place was so patient and really took her time to make sure everything looked perfect! She also gave a really good foot and leg massage with the pedicure!:) ~lohana

Archie Williams High School

Good place to go to school, compared to the other ones around here. I feel like a good 99% of the faculty genuinely care about the students and want to see them succeed, but the other 1% are what breaks this school. In my experience most of my teachers were inspiring and uplifting, but some were just disappointing. I've had teachers here who insult students in front of everyone else and others who are unreceptive to change or constructive criticism. As far as administration goes, it's easy to get the feeling that they are trying to please the parents more than the people that actually attend the school. Student voice and administration/student communication are absurdly nonexistent, although some of that is due to the students themselves. Drake has countless resources for every individual which no one seems to use, probably because they're too busy vaping in the bathroom or finishing a test during lunch that the teacher said "would only take 30 mins". Apart from that I have to say that I have had a pretty great high school experience here, just don't think it's as 5 star/1 star as these other reviewers are saying. Go here if you live in Marin and somehow can't afford MA or MC. ~Colton

San Anselmo Gelato

Don’t even remember the taste of the ice cream. Spanish guy that works there was soo rude to us it ruined the whole experience. When we came to the shop it was closed( door was locked during business hours) and the guy that works there came out of the car and was yelling at us because we pulled the door “ the door is broken don’t pull it, don’t touch the door I said!” Then he opened the door and literally pushed kids out of the shop because he needed to enter and take some time there without us. He was upset because we didn’t know what flavor we wanted right the way( there were eating of us) I understand it’s post Covid and everyone is short on staff but it doesn’t mean staff should be rude to customers. Not planning to come back. ~Rose
