I had a late night stop on my way from Yosemite National Park to San Francisco. The gas station was next to two 24-hour eateries Jack in the Box and Denny’s, which attracted more motorists than the other stations. It was well lit, and made me feel safer. The price was also much lower (15-20% lower) than Bay Area’s prices, so I just had to fill up. As always, leave some traveling $ in some remote local places you visit!! Cheers! ~Qihua

Being a Lyft driver I came a long distance to Merced. I needed gas and saw Chevron thinking they would be courteous and welcoming as most chevron's tend to be. I purchased gas for my return trip. Upon completion of fuel refill I then asked where the restroom was that I could use. The cashier said yes and a second employee noted to have been moping cut him off saying no in a raised voice and agitated demeanor. Continued to say, "It's out of service with extreme attitude." Its my opinion that this Chevron should be boycotted as it's certainly not appreciative of the consumers who fund the establishment. HEALTH HAZARD: Beware. Staff do not wear masks at all; all day, even when preparing food. The food is awful or mediocre. I have visited this store several times and bought food an additional 3 times. One time no one wanted to take my order, perhaps because the same girl who tried to discourage me from ordering a few days earlier by telling me they did not have pizza sauce. When I insisted on ordering a pizza; suddenly red sauce was available. She and her co workers would not take my order second time I went there. She just kept on staring at the grill and some boy kept walking in circles and washing his hands after talking to her. Had a slice of combo- awful, Ordered a cheeseburger from who seemed to be the owner or manager (only adult that works there, a saturday). It would have been good if the lettuce was not browning (old) and the burger and fries had been salted. A mushroom pizza that had too much sauce and 7 slices of mushroom on a large pizza. Most all the employees have zero customer service skills, they are surly, rude or silent. The customers in the morning are cowboy kids that don't wear masks either.... This place is a rip off and health hazard !!!! ~E.

It was my fourth and last time in this place. The lady cashier was very “serious” probably she doesn’t like this kind of job, the kitchen was dirty today. Our burgers really dry and no flavor, lettuce not fresh, potatoes plenty of oil and not fresh. My first time was awesome was a very nice lady and awesome food. Second time was a pizza slide and was good, third time a quesadilla, dry and just the tortilla and cheese, no flavor in it and warm. Today big burger combo with my descriptions. It is a shame if they don’t have more a good cooker, please train them better. I missed the good times in this place!!! I have a stomachache now, and I’m sad! Bye bye. ~fizzfarm_fermentedfoods

In a town of about 70,000 people, why do we have one post office with 8-10 parking spaces? It’s located downtown, impossible to park on the street. Can something done to improve parking? Please. Otherwise, this post office is pretty efficient and most of the clerks have been there for years and are friendly too. ~Denese

I went to go to use my direct express debit card and I put the wrong pin number and I did it 3 times and then she never gave me a receipt told me to come back and get the receipt. I checked on my direct express debit card and it says that$23.85 was taken off my direct express debit card l would like to have the money for what was taken off the card .minus the price for 2 packs of cigarettes and the fee to use a debit card ~Tammy

Took care of my note 9 lcd and digitizer repair for me. Had me in and out in no time. Called 3 other stores and they had the best price by over $50. Had friendly staff and a nice shop. Going to be bringing my laptop in next ...awesome! ~Carlos

The best paint in town, the best customer service in town! All the employees are very knowledgeable. Ask for advice on painting, you'll see. Yeah a little bit more expensive, but this paint cover with less passes. Learned my lesson a long time ago. ~Franco

I brought in some jerseys that I had ordered from another vendor. After one wash, the letters and numbers started peeling off. I brought the jerseys to T-shirts plus and the owner spent time explaining how he could fix them. He was very honest and upfront about the process and told me he could have them ready within a few days. Sure enough, they were fixed and ready to be picked up within three days and the cost was very reasonable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this local store for all sports paraphernalia and team gear. ~Inga
