I submitted a review that was sent to my personal email for the company, but no one ever got back to me after that. Anyway, I thought I could at least share my honest review for people to do with what they wish. There are things about this company that were great, namely Rudy (GM) and Kristie (VP?). The man who delivered our belongings was wonderful as well (Billie I believe). They were the only positive part of our experience.
We moved from Colorado to a nearby state earlier this summer, and my husband and I had about a week to settle in before starting new careers. We made this known when looking for companies. When quoted for our move, we were told that the "delivery date would be significantly whittled down" from the two week span we were initially given, and that to whittle it down, we needed to sign and book the move officially. We've never used a moving company prior, so we did so (in hindsight, a bit naive).
The quality of packing was terrible, and there isn't really another way to put it. It truly looked like someone walked through the house and yard and chucked things in a box. There were flower pots with dirt in it in the box with our master bath towels and a canvas painting. Absolutely no rhyme or reason, and rooms were definitely not packed together. Random bolts were thrown into the bottom of an office box. I still have no idea where several things went (trashcan, shower curtain, half of a scentsy base??). I'm assuming there was. a box somewhere that didn't get unloaded.
LONG story short, our things didn't arrive until the exact two week mark. Trying to get in touch with our coordinator was a nightmare until legitimately the last 24 hours prior to our things arriving. We were given about a 4 hour window to pay "or our belongings could be withheld", and our coordinator disappeared from both us and the GM of the company after sending the email. I panicked and contacted the GM, who was kind enough to show us how to pay online. The coordinator was very responsive the day our things arrived, but it's a bit late at that point after weeks of begging for our things. I know it's been busy and they have to coordinate drivers, but good gracious it's frustrating when you've booked two months in advance and weren't given an honest assessment of a timeline. Especially in a time as high-stress as this one.
This was our first company experience, and I honestly know it would have been easier if we'd just done it ourselves. We're both healthcare workers and really just wanted to treat ourselves to a less-stressful move after the last 1.5 years, but that's definitely not our experience. Just keep those things in mind when reviewing. ~kristen
