Best medical lab in East Hartford, Connecticut (CT) 2024

Unprofessional staff. To start my daughter has not had great experiences in the past getting bloodwork done because she has small veins so I was really hoping this would be more of a positive experience for her since it's been a few years. When we walked in I asked one of the staff that came out if she had a mask for us. She immediately looked at my daughter and started telling us that we were going to be fined $250 for walking into a building without a mask on and that it was against the law. She continued to rant and threaten on and on about being fined for well over a minute. I was so confused because we asked her for a mask! We didn't refuse to wear one or have an attitude about having to wear one... Why was she talking to us like this? My daughter was very irritated after she was so rude and we ended up walking out and going somewhere else. This staff needs to know how much her attitude effects the patients coming in here. They are already scared, maybe even terrified because they have to get bloodwork done. If anything the phlebotomist should be warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed environment for people who are coming in nervous. Now I have doubts about going quest at all. ~Renee
