Chase Bank

I am a long time Chase customer. I took my oldest son to open a bank account and was told to sit down and wait. After 30 minutes they told me actually we didn’t realize the time and will be closing soon... can you come back tomorrow? Why not tell me this before asking me to sit and wait. I was holding a sleeping child the entire time and am very frustrated to have wasted my time. The branch on federal road is always much friendlier and professional. I will go there to open his account instead. ~Belinda

Stop & Shop

Slop and swamp The pictures shown above this review are NOT of this stop and shop. The accompanying pictures are current. This is hardly a fit store for food for human consumption... other than their canned foods. Good: Prices are generally ok. Be very careful when buying perishable items. Check the "sell by" dates, even on canned items, because stock rotation is non existent, Customer service at the service desk is usually responsive and accommodating to the consumer. If you are conscientious and shop here, you will need them. BAD: BEWARE the deli department! The worst around. Machines are ALWAYS dirty. There is always a pile of old cold cut shreds on every slicer. If you order roast beef. be prepared to be chewing chunks of pastrami and liverwurst and salami that were picked up from the dirty slicer. Upon specific request, some clerks will clean the machine before slicing your order, but you'd better look first before you place your order. And NEVER take the presliced deli meat. Deli manager apparently doesn't care and is rarely available in any event. Repeated requests to have the slicers wiped down and cleaned are ignored. ANYTHING fresh must be examined thoroughly before purchase. The general rule seems to be that they are not concerned with having the freshest foods available for their customers. It seems that they try to slip through whatever marginally semi fresh meat or produce is left over and salable. if you shop here on a rainy day, or after a recent rain, beware of the leaking from the roof that may be dripping on your food. Good news is that the aisles are RARELY crowded. Bad news is that there is a reason. ~SgtFlyer

BD Provisions

Great place to shop for dry goods, unique items for gifts. I love this store...get all of my coffee beans ground perfectly. I go through coffee quickly so no concerns about freshness for me. They serve hot coffee too. I purchase bulk raw nuts - salt free. Everything is clearly marked, too. Carob chips to chocolate chips. Then there is bulk tea (loose). Plus all types and manner of "flour". I highly recommend this store!! So glad it was recommended to me. ~Mary

Tractor Supply Co.

Cluttered aisles, generally disorganized, untidy. I have really tried to like this store since it's location is very convenient for me. It offers (when in stock) many items that I need while working around my property and shop. But the place is such a mess that it is really hard to love. Add to that "management" that is usually not customer friendly despite cashiers and clerks who go out of their way to try to help. Out of stock items leave empty bins in every aisle while stacks of unsold merchandise are piled up all over the store. This place would be much more pleasant to shop if only the inventory were controled and maintained. Staffing shortages seem to persist and result in occasional long waits at the register and little available help in the aisles. There are always blocked aisles with ladders or carts or boxes or overstock. Shelf prices rarely reflect the price at the register... in fact they are rarely placed near the correct item. Finding the price for an item is too often a guessing game. The store seems to suffer from a lack of organization and leadership. It's as if most of the crew is bailing as fast as they can but the captain is passed out at the wheel. ~SgtFlyer

Braun Moving, Inc.

Recently moved from CT to NC, and we were very impressed with and thankful for Braun Moving throughout the whole process. Elsa was very friendly and responsive. The movers were prompt and friendly, and efficient loading and unloading. They moved us out on a Friday and in on Tuesday (we were very happy only having to wait a few days). They were the most reasonably priced moving quote that we received by far, and even the final payment with additional items and boxes we added was very fair. So glad we chose them. I don't think it could have gone any more smoothly. ~Shannon
