6 Best grocery store in Saint Petersburg, Florida (FL) 2024

Everyone that works at Publix is always friendly and helpful. The Rotisserie Chicken they make in house is flavorful, the meat is moist and just super delicious. The Deli Sandwiches are Amazing and you can order ahead of time and pick up. They have a good selection of flowers and the bakery has the best cookies and cakes. The produce is always really good as well. It's a little bit pricier than most stores but it hasn't stopped me from shopping there. ~Dana

This Publix is well stocked. Good deli and sufficient selection of meats. The salads are usually brown but the rest of the produce look fresh. Cashiers stare at you without smiling or greeting you. Not very friendly so I would say it's lacking in customer service. I live right outside this Publix in the condos across the street and will drive to the Publix on M.L.K. for better and friendlier customer service where I feel welcomed. ~Jake's

We drove all the way from Tampa mostly per pictures to get their cakes and based on the fact that hey have tables and chairs we expected some hot food service. We got the only option of the cake they have and founds that it’s from New York, so not that fresh, it was ok. We also got smoked salmon and it was pricy $15/lb I think, but sesame seeds Halva with pistachios was good. ~Ana

Best pricing and good portions. Is remodeling and it is looking great. Beer, soda, full meals and snacks & some grocery items. You can't beat the hot food prices. Great menu for southern cooking. Very friendly employees and owner. ~ANN

Don’t go here for gas. 25-50 cents higher than other local gas stations. I tracked the mpg after getting gas from here… my average went from 29 to 21 mpg.. over priced and terrible quality gas. ~James
