Received an offer to get some extra cash for opening a checking account. Wanted to move from another bank, so I proceeded. Had some issues legitimately trying to get online banking enrollment connected, and as a result, missed the deadline for the offer. When I called, they disagreed with me that I had issues and stated nothing could be done. No cash. When I said, 'never mind' and indicated I would just 'let it go' and close the account, I was promptly reminded that it would cost me a fee to close the account within the fist 6 months. Hmm. Not really feeling any love here. Now my money is tied up until the deposits clear, and I can get no compensation, no promotional cash, and will have to pay if I choose not to do business with them. Such a shame. I feel big banking has no soul when it comes to this kind of thing. Feels like a true, bona fide bait and switch. Left completely disillusioned. ~Jonny
