I have never been treated so poorly in my life. After being forced to pay nearly $600 for a rental because of the failure of auto owners insurance and Christian (lol) brothers I was incorrectly placed on a do not rent list without my knowledge. Basically, it took 2 1/2 months to get my car repaired, (well almost repaired, there are still parts missing) so I had to pay out of pocket for the rental. EVERY PENNY WAS PAID IN FULL. Not two weeks after getting my car back from this nightmare, won’t you know it I got rear ended again! I was at a complete stop, when I was hit from behind. Sent me flying into the car infront of me. Everything was all set up through the at fault party’s insurance. I called that morning to confirm with enterprise that they would be there at 10 AM with my rental. At that time I was made aware that I was on the “no rent list” I explained to the customer service representative that that was incorrect. I called the one 800 number as he directed and they confirmed that it was absolutely their error that I had been placed on the list and it would be fixed. I did note that no apology was made, which should have been my first clue. Later that day, I went to drop off my vehicle and enterprise was not there. After several phone calls and a call to the manager from the collision repair center Enterprise finally showed up about an hour later. He arrived with a Camry and tried to tell me this was an upgrade because of my trouble. Whatever, it has wheels I really don’t care. But it is humorous that anyone could try to imply that a Camry is an “upgrade”. After the gentleman tried to upsell me in every way possible he then asked for a credit card. I didn’t have a credit card only my debit card. Long story short, even though it was an insurance claim and I had just rented a car from the same company not a month prior With a debit card, he would not rent me the car. Instead he left me standing in a parking lot alone with all of my belongings. There was nothing left to do but cry. He literally left me stranded in a parking lot with no recourse. I would not treat a dog this way. I still can’t believe that I was treated so poorly. The manager at the collision center and a customer service representative from the main office at enterprise were so disgusted by my experience. They both said they would be addressing this with some sort of management. It has been 24 hours and I have heard nothing from enterprise. What has happened to customer service? What has happened to basic kindness? You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I am absolutely sickened. If you need to rent a vehicle I would stay away from enterprise, if you can’t stay away from enterprise, at the very least stay away from the rude, heartless, Incompetent, ignorant, Lack of responsibility taking, jerks at the Canton Georgia location! ~Elizabeth
