Best variety store in Newnan, Georgia (GA) 2024

The lady that had all black on today with a curly wig down to her backside. Wanted to close the doors 10 minutes before closing time. I went to the door to ask her to let me in for two items. I was told that they are closed. Although I saw other customers in there. She let the customer in front of me come in and she saw I was running to the door and she still closed it in my face. The store can get remodeled but some of the associates need to get their attitude and professionalism corrected as well. ~Tiffany

I feel Dollar General could be a great place to shop. Convenient, low prices, variety. However, it doesn't seem they have store standards and constantly. Undermanned and understocked is an understatement. One of their newest store opened close to my house. Shelves are a disaster, stock gondolas block the isles, ALWAYS. They only take cash at the maned check out. And the cashier's are usually difficult to locate (seldom near the store front). I believe all the stores have serious issues from the top down. SOP, supervision and support would probably make these stores great. As of now I feel they are complacent and mediocre on their best day. Not a pleasant experience, I've had to leave without checking out because I couldn't locate the cashier. ~Roger

This store has friendly staff. We were greeted as we walked in. All of the shelves are well stocked with a large variety of different items to choose from, including Easter treats and decor, clothing, art supplies and even home decor and pet supplies, just to name a few. For the most part, the prices are $5 and below, as advertised but there are some items costing up to $20, from what I saw. Overall, very pleased with my experience and with it being my partners first time in a 5 below store. ~Anny
