Best convenience store in Newnan, Georgia (GA) 2024

The lady that had all black on today with a curly wig down to her backside. Wanted to close the doors 10 minutes before closing time. I went to the door to ask her to let me in for two items. I was told that they are closed. Although I saw other customers in there. She let the customer in front of me come in and she saw I was running to the door and she still closed it in my face. The store can get remodeled but some of the associates need to get their attitude and professionalism corrected as well. ~Tiffany

I feel Dollar General could be a great place to shop. Convenient, low prices, variety. However, it doesn't seem they have store standards and constantly. Undermanned and understocked is an understatement. One of their newest store opened close to my house. Shelves are a disaster, stock gondolas block the isles, ALWAYS. They only take cash at the maned check out. And the cashier's are usually difficult to locate (seldom near the store front). I believe all the stores have serious issues from the top down. SOP, supervision and support would probably make these stores great. As of now I feel they are complacent and mediocre on their best day. Not a pleasant experience, I've had to leave without checking out because I couldn't locate the cashier. ~Roger

Very nice and busy. Upon driving on lot you have a Wendy's and subway. Be careful because there's a lot of tractor/trailer traffic. There's plenty of room as long as you enter and exit in the appropriate lane. If not you will find yourself waiting for an opening. The brand is excellent and has lots of products. Upon entry you're greeted with a "welcome to pilot" by a staff of helpful associates. Showers are available, not sure about details. There's hot food also within the store from pilot and tons of microwave sandwiches. Fuel prices are average,with plenty of pumps. Store was clean and neat with associates working the floor. I highly recommend as you travel to pilot your way to pilot. ~Anthony
