5 Best grocery store in Joliet, Illinois (IL) 2024

Stopped in to get some chicken for dinner. 3 people working in deli, deli manager chatting out front. No numbers in machine 6 people show up and nobody tries to help the only 2 people actually working back there. One employee slicing meat to put out in the case, hey here's an idea stop what your doing and help get the line down. Finally get waited on and order 8 piece fried chicken meal get home and open bag and it's got 3 wings and 3 legs in it. Should be 2 of each piece. Should have went to Tony's. Next time I will. ~Mike

We never got greeted,the store was a hurricane mess. The associate that walked through the store never bothered to asked if we needed help and then when we checked out , she didn't bother to smile or ask how things were going.She was making fun of the old man who couldn't find the soap instead of asking someone to help him,she laughed and said maybe he just can't reach or can't see it. Not nice at all. Karla maybe the dollar tree isnt for you but at least be kind,it doesn't hurt anyone. Shop at the Tree on Jefferson instead,thats where we are headed to find vaccuum sealed bags. ~Lisa

Fresh produce and meat is great. Place is very clean and the employees help and are friendly. Limited selection for frozen and canned foods. Good place to go if you know what you want and don't feel like walking through a warehouse to get it ~Mike

If you want a mom and pop feel when you're shopping, then this is the place for you. They have great prices, great service and a beautiful selection of meats all provided locally. 5 stars 👍🏻 ~Drew

Great store produce always fresh prices are a little high but it's quality food don't mind paying a little extra for the quality. The seafood dept is awesome too! Would definitely refer family & friends ~Jimmy
