Best furniture accessories in Wheaton, Illinois (IL) 2024

I have always enjoyed browsing thru this store and have purchased 1 furniture item. My first thought was to bring my beautiful dishes to them when I was down sizing.I absolutely loved my dishes originally purchased from Bloomingdales and was hoping that I would get the best price from Acosta. I read all the instructions and filled out all the forms. I understood I drop them off and then it is in their hands. They claim that they are experts in pricing. I then never heard anything back although they said they were behind in getting items out. I visited frequently looking to see what they were priced at. Finally, I asked and was told that they sold immediately even before they took photos. My check was just mailed out to me. A 35 piece set including 8 hand painted matching wine glasses, a large platter, service for 8 and I got $97. Far lower than I ever thought. They priced it so low that of course it sold immediately or perhaps it went to someone who worked there! I was very disappointed--it cost $40 for the boxes and bubble wrap to pack all the pieces! It was in perfect condition and I didn't want anything to chip getting it to them. Somebody got a great deal on my beloved set! So happy that I held back pieces. Beware!! ~MO
