Best car rental agency in Fort Wayne, Indiana (IN) 2024

Not a great experience from beginning to end. Vehicle was not ready during my reservation time. Had to wait an hour and a half to bring a vehicle from another location. I rented a full sized truck but what they finally brought me was a small truck, but by that time I was very late hitting the road and didn’t have time to argue it. I’m sure there is a price difference as well and I was overcharged. I’m not sure why enterprise would rent me a vehicle that was unavailable.. and even if they had made a mistake, a call ahead to solve it would’ve been appreciated. The team also needed some training in customer service and how to behave in front of waiting customers. The car I rented was clean and to compensate me for my wait, one of the employees marked the tank as empty when full so I didn’t have to fill up (was a company rental so the savings didn’t effect me). I turned in the car and then two days later got a text that was clearly meant for when I picked up the car. Whole experience made me not want to rent from the specific branch I used but would give enterprise another chance. ~Melissa
