Best butcher shop in West Lafayette, Indiana (IN) 2024

I just love Fresh Thyme. There’s a certain category of store that I think of as “Less Corporate, Cheaper (relatively speaking) Whole Foods” that I just always gravitate towards (not that I would be caught dead inside a Whole Foods now that Amazon owns them). It may be more expensive, but I think it’s worth it. Also, not only is the produce way better than what you can get anywhere else in town, but when it’s on sale it’s also way cheaper. How do they do that? A mystery 🧐. I wish they had a larger bulk section (and I know that it’s had to be reduced in size I’m assuming due to COVID) but I guess you can’t have it all.
