Recently moved and this was a close gas station. I always go to fill up my fountain drink (100oz). When I went in the guy working told me not to come back and charged me $7 for a refill. I’m no math wizard but charging me for two 64oz refills does not equal 100oz. Never going back again, no reason I should have to pay that much for a soda refill and I was overcharged. ~Fr0stbit3

I love this store. Couple blocks from home, good prices and awesome variety. The only thing wrong with this location is 1 employee. I won't post her name but because of her rude, eye rolling, act like I'm a huge inconvenience attitude, I don't think I'll ever go back! All the other employees inc. The management is so friendly and helpful and always offer a hello and smile. This particular lady I'm referring to should really consider a new field of work because customer service is NOT for her. ~Dave

Always disorganized and the store is always dirty. Half the time you can't even move a cart around the store because the isles are full of the truck orders almost all week until the next truck. Nothing's is where it's suppose to be. ~Dana

I personally never really shopped there as a adult but growing up in the neighborhood we did as a family back in the 80s and 90s & as a kid I would ride the toy ride out front if I was good during our store visits. Now present day 30 yrs later and I work there and the store is making a comeback I believe. Because our crew leaders and staff are working together to make family dollar great again. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for good deals and good value to come and shop with us we are nothing without our customers. We got a flat tire due to debris on the road 15 miles from Waterloo on Saturday at 7:45pm. I was amazed to find a service station that was open on a Saturday night that would repair the tire for us. We put the donut spare on and took the flat tire to Lind. It was nearly 9pm by the time we got there. The staff was pleasant and hard working and were happy to assist us. We were back on the road before 10pm!! Amazing!!! Thank you so much for being open but more importantly for having amazing people that were willing (and happy) to work so hard to get us back on the road!! Service: Tires ~Maureen

I absolutely LOVED my wedding dress from The Finery. It was the first dress I had tried on and after so many other options I tried, we all knew it was this one. The staff there are great to work with and made everything so easy for me being a bride living in Des Moines and having to travel to them. And even with the uncertainty of the pandemic making production and supply a concern, they were on top of it, we got my dress ordered early when they said to, and everything arrived perfectly and with time to spare. ~Andrea
