Wouldn't even give Dr. Weatherford one star if there was a choice of zero. Went in telling him I had abdominal and chest pain and without so much as examining me told me I had " acid reflux" and prescribed a generic Prilosec. Even when I told him I was quite confident it was in fact not acid reflux that was causing the discomfort, he dismissed my concerns and maitained it was what he diagnosed. Nearly two weeks later I ended up in the ER and promptly admitted to the Cardiac Care Unit with an A-Fib heart that is working about 25% and fluid in my lungs. Nice diagnosis Weatherford, you need to relinquish your medical licence. ~Jason

We adopted our beagle June from the Helping Hands Humane Society (HHHS) in Topeka nearly 2 years ago. She was a "death row" dog because she came in with with a bunch of cysts all over her body. A foster volunteer at HHHS worked very hard to get donations to allow June to have surgery to help her survive. The foster mom was successful at getting money for the surgery. The foster mom is a vet tech at Dr. Smith's office. Dr. Smith performed the surgery and saved June's life which made it possible for us to adopt her. Ever since we welcomed June into our family Dr. Smith has continued to be her vet. The staff is wonderful an Dr. Smith is compassionate, honest, a good vet. Her prices are very reasonable. If you want to trust your beloved pets to a good vet, we recommend Dr. Smith. You will not regret the short drive to Tonganoxie. ~Christopher

I was a patient of Dr Weatherford’s Office for months and I was going to him for some mental health medication and as soon as I got a new metal Health edition they tried saying that I broke my controlled substance agreement and had my new doctor send him the exact same medication as he did this never happened they even came up with a fake name for a doctor at the office that I was going to there is no doctor with the name that they gave I was without my medication for over a week and a half the medication I take you cannot go that long without taking especially after being on it for a long period of time years etc. I was advised to actually take legal action which I will not be doing because I don’t have the time for that I am very disappointed and thought that a small town Dr. it would be more trustworthy than a city doctor I was wrong ~Nicole
