9 Best drugstore in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (LA) 2024

The pharmacy staff have no sense of direction and no plan. I showed up 10-15 minutes early for my Vaccination, it’s 4:30 and I still have not received my Vaccination. It took them 10-15 minutes just to even give me the paper work. Sometimes when I would get my medicine I would have a call saying that it was ready and it still wouldn’t be ready. This pharmacy is terrible at that ~Themfeels101

Staff is very courteous & friendly. Store is clean & orderly. Prices are very high on some items whereas sale items are good. ~FerretGal

This Walgreen's used to be managed very well; not anymore. Not sure what has happened this past year but they don't answer the phone. Called 5 times, waited on hold over 5 minutes each time, disconnected 5 times before anyone picked up. Just trying to ask a question. I can tell the pharmacy staff work hard and are very organized but a couple of the staff have been rude and obviously refuse to answer the phone now. Also, the voicemail has been changed completely for the worse. Now it is poorly organized and a huge waste of valuable time. ~Laura

I have given this store about 12 different opportunities to not be as horrible as it is. The shelves are always empty I think maybe 20% of the store has something in it. The cashiers are always very rude and on top of that they always seem to be having system problems or some sort of issue. I don't recommend stopping at this Dollar General under any circumstances ~Amanda

I would give no stars if possible because they don't deserve it. Thank store literally opens and closes whenever they like. They will close at 4pm on a weekday and open at 12pm on the weekend. It's sad this is how cvs does in it's black community when I know they aren't like this in the more white areas even tho we spend the same money. It's very sad seeing elderly try in go in to just be turned around by a locked door because of wrong hours or whatever the reason ~Ron

I could tell that they had just received a truck but product racks were blocking every aisle. They were more concerned with stocking shelves than the ability of the customers to navigate through the maze. ~Dennis

Big sign in window says open from 7-9. It’s almost 7:20 and still not open. I see lights on inside but doors locked and not answering phone. ~Amanda

Dollar General in Independence, La can be found on Hwy 40. This location offers gas for an affordable price. This location is open until 10 pm. You can get all what you need in one convenient stop. Shop grocery for big savings. Save more by using Dollar General coupons. This location also sells tabacco and alcohol products and the professional staff do ask the customers to present an ID when making alcohol or tabacco product purchases. This location is spacious and offer a wide selection of beauty and health, clothing and shoes, housewares, auto service products, kitchen and bath, outdoor and seasonal merchandise. ~Shannon

The store is extremely under staffed, also there are a few employees who just kinda look at you like your an annoyance for being there. They don't restock the products often at all and are always running out of stuff. They need to wipe out 75% of there staff and managers and hire some people who actually have pride in there job instead of blaring rap music on there phone while working and looking at text messages and making phone calls while customers are at the counter tryin to check out. ~Sean
