Best hardware store in Covington, Louisiana (LA) 2024

I stop here regularly for groceries when coming home late from work, when only WM and the gas stations are open. Stuff for lunches, restock home items, etc. Like it isn’t bad enough there are NO human cashiers, Wed night they had a phalanx of workers shouting at shoppers, counting down to closing. “Eight minutes ma’am!” If I were an employee there, I’d find that unacceptable from a coworker or manager. And since we have to ring up our own purchases, I feel like we’re there working, not getting paid, and being disrespected as well. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in a retail store. ~R
