We just happened onto this place while running some back roads in Louisiana. It was a popular spot for locals and it did not disappoint. It was some of the best fried chicken I have ever lock lips with. (Sorry mom...). The owners were there cooking and serving at the counter and took my order quickly and even threw in a fried pie in case the chicken didn't fill us up. Highly recommend this eatery. ~James

Really enjoyed our night! The bartender was great and the food was delicious. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back. We ate at the bar but will sit outside next time to enjoy the gorgeous view of the lake. ~Jennyfer

Cancelled my Uhaul reservation for July 29, which I'd booked on July 5, with less than 24 hours notice. I asked why, and they said they had "No idea why traffic would do that, since you made your reservation so far in advance." That makes two of us, buddy. Poor customer service is rampant in Natchitoches but this was the worst experience that I had in my time living there, left me scrambling to find a rental truck less than a day before my move. ~Chris

We were here about 245pm on a Tuesday. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Our waiter stayed on her phone at the front door. She had brought our drinks but We would have to go get her to take our order. She brought our food and said “enjoy” and walked off. My husband was eating his appetizer and I told him that “ she forgot you had order a sushi roll”. From our table, We were watching the chef make it. Sure enough….. we had to get up and go get it from the sushi counter after it had sit there a while. Never saw her again. We had to go to the front and get our ticket to pay. The food was very good. We expected to pay a good bit for it. But the portions were very small for the price. ~Darla

Fast, efficient, personable service/ with a smile. Full service location. Safe environment, masking required and social distancing practiced tastefully. I made it my bank of choice in that area ! ~Ezra
