First time being here, we didn’t order food but sat out in court yard. Ordered drinks and we enjoyed our time. They have a big menu and plan to be back soon to try a bit of it. I’ll update this then! ***Updated*** Went there this past Saturday during the car show. This jalapeño roll is a must have. We sat out in the courtyard and there was a band setting up to play later on. Didn’t know they ever had bands there so that was cool! Would recommend posting things about that on Facebook or something to draw more people in. Service has always been good. We’ve been back several times for this jalapeño roll alone haha.

The only place in town that i can get an authentic bowl of ramen. I recommend when getting the ramen to choose the miso broth as the soy broth is a bit too salty.

Had a wonderful experience at Hana Sushi! The location is great, across from the tranquil river of Natchitoches, right in the middle of the quaint Front street among cute stores, in a red brick historic building that has gas lights along the walls. Hana Sushi has three parts: 1) the main restaurant that has a sushi bar; 2) the lovely court yard after you go through the main restaurant towards the back of the restaurant, and 3) across from the courtyard, you come to a lounge which has more tables and the bar. We happen to visit on a Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, there is a live band performing in the evening, the Raven, members of the band are local folks who love music and definitely have the talent for it too! Owner of the restaurant says Hana Sushi has live band on pretty much all Saturdays. And there are frequent patrons who come for the band performance, enjoy a good time drinking, dancing with friends and have some delicious food. Food is superb! As someone who lives in California, in an area rich of Japanese cuisine, the food at Hana Sushi did not disappoint. The presentation and the authenticity (as much as possible) was impressive. I especially enjoyed the shrimp tempura, so fluffy and crisp, better than the ones I have had in SF Bay Area. I could go on and on with this review, don't know when I'll be back in Natchitoches. Before I turn this into a novel, I hope you can all come discover the beauty of this town, and have time to experience Hana Sushi along Front street.

We were here about 245pm on a Tuesday. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Our waiter stayed on her phone at the front door. She had brought our drinks but We would have to go get her to take our order. She brought our food and said “enjoy” and walked off. My husband was eating his appetizer and I told him that “ she forgot you had order a sushi roll”. From our table, We were watching the chef make it. Sure enough….. we had to get up and go get it from the sushi counter after it had sit there a while. Never saw her again. We had to go to the front and get our ticket to pay. The food was very good. We expected to pay a good bit for it. But the portions were very small for the price.

To be honest they have the best hibachi set I've ever tasted (I wonder what magic spell they put in it). The flavors are bold, the meat is so juicy. Service is always great. We had "red sail" for dessert - cheese cake tempura with cream and fresh strawberries. So creative!

The food is so authentic. There are so many options to choose from. There are different sushi to try. You could get hibachi, Terryaki, seafood, sashimi. The service was fairly quick and easy. The waitress was so patient and polite. Hana has a "date night" atmosphere. This is totally the place to take someone for a date. The food pictured is what I ordered. I thought it was ok. Terryaki is not my favorite flavor. The food is pricy. But the quality was amazing. Overall, great experience! I would go again.

We ordered the loveboat, and it was to die for! The fish was so fresh and the owner happened to be our waitress as well! She was knowledgeable of the fish on the tray and answered any questions we had, as well as being a super sweet lady. I highly recommend the front street Hana for sure! They're so much nicer and the historic charm of the building adds to the dining experience for sure!

Our lunch was Absolutely Delicious! Our server was Super Sweet, Attentive and Genuine. Our Sushi Chef was Amazing!! Best Lunch Date Ever!! I Love Hana's on the Riverfront!! The Best!!
