Best financial institution in Brunswick, Maine (ME) 2024

Less than one star actually. I have had the HARDEST time dealing with Bangor Savings from the state of Virginia as I've worked to put my sister's estate in order. They have made me jump through numerous hoops (which of course some of which are justified, I'm an attorney so get that) but in general the customer service has been not only abysmal but also completely unsympathetic. I would never in a million years set up an account with Bangor Savings. As a matter of fact, as soon as I can, I will be closing this one. I have dealt with many banks and financial institutions over the course of my life, but this one has been the absolute worst. ~Amelia
