Best gym in Acton, Massachusetts (MA) 2024

Another great workout courtesy of Anytime Fitness! The first thing I did when I stepped through the door was take off my shoes, sit on the floor and have lunch. It's that clean! You can eat off the bathroom floors too if that's your thing; not my bag, but to each their own. The place has that new club smell and everyone is so nice. Enclosed by Dunkin Donuts at one end and Papa John's on the other, temptations are abundant. Keep your blinders on and power through the many cardio options, then get your swole on. The options for lifting weights are so numerous, but Google has told me to cut the review short. So what are you waiting for? Guess when I workout? ANYTIME! ~Carter

I've been a member for several years and I recognize many "regulars" who have been there for a long time as well. Why do people keep coming back (unlike most gyms I've ever tried)? Here are my top reasons: 1) the staff are fantastic. They're warm, approachable, and they care about helping members succeed. 2) the unique approach: Koko uses a strength training system that they developed, which is individually customized and regularly tuned to fit you. You're led, exercise by exercise, motion by motion, through an exercise routine for a half hour. I'm always surprised to see the tallies at the end that show me how much weight I've lifted. I had no idea it was so easy to lift several tons in a half hour workout! (and anyone who knows me would probably say I'm no gym rat!) 3) where most gyms fall down is they don't make the experience worthwhile enough for most members to keep coming back. Koko makes it so easy, so simple to know what to do to be successful -- it's great. I highly recommend it! ~Geoff
