Best discount store in Kalamazoo, Michigan (MI) 2024

Won't be back. You could barely walk through this store with the way everything was crammed in. Let alone even try to use one of their shopping carts. Then when you go to checkout... OMG... The line leading up to the 4 checkouts, wrapped at least half-way around the outer wall of the store. I realize they moved, downsizing, from the much larger location that was 2-story. To a single story location that is ¼ to ⅓ of the size, & then tried to put everything back out on to the sales floor. Talk about claustrophobic, let alone a fire hazard! ~Chris

Closed at 5:45 on a Wednesday with no sign posted other than the regular store hours. The lights are all on, and it looks open apart from the doors being locked. Someone must have left during their shift, and I don’t blame them if they were working alone. Hire more staff and pay them better. ~Alayna

They had what I was looking for. Stock on some items very low or empty. I can always find greeting cards there, plastic tableware and foil pans. ~Diane
