Best gas station in Kalamazoo, Michigan (MI) 2024

They Definitely need More Workers . I had to walk out because there was only 1 person running the register . I love speedway but this one is my least favorite, i had to put my items back and leave because standing in a line for 15 minutes is too long for me. Get it together speedway on Drake Road! ~Anna

The food was good, but the panhandlers are rude as F and have been known to turn violent if someone tells them 'no..' Unfortunately, management and the other workers don't mind the way paying customers are treated, .. ~MiMi

I'm not sure about now but a few weeks before this last christmas nearly 70% of the coolers were empty. I assumed it was a supply issue due to covid but only 1 other speedway I was at had stock issues and it was only 1 brand. This speedway had some water and Pepsi but no mountain dew, no sports drinks, no coke products, ect... I was told by employees that it was a supply problem that all speedway were facing but I visit 6 different speedway locations often and did not see this anywhere else. On top of that the coffee machines, floors, counters were absolutely disgusting and it was like this everytime I went for months. I quit drinking coffee so it didn't bother me but I stopped eating the hot food because I wondered if these machines were being taken care of the same way. There was always spilled drinks everywhere, napkins on the floor, dried nacho cheese sauce. Anyways I haven't visit this location in a a few months so this could be rectified by now but this store should be kept alot cleaner due to its size, large parking lot with easy access and it's 24hrs. The revenue this store could make is astronomical. College kids occupy the apartments nearby, there is several health care offices less than 3 mins away with a thousand employees. I would make this store a priority over others with straightening this situation out. On Christmas eve around 4am I visited this store and a younger woman was working, she told me that she just started 2 days prior and was told she had to work ALONE on Christmas eve into Christmas day. I was shocked but this wasn't the first time I got a similar story here. I used to operate a car dealership nearby and I loved this place back then. So unfortunate its not on my "will go out of my way to visit" list anymore. ~Bruce
