**UPDATE** Since leaving this review, I have been in contact with the regional manager. We have worked together to find a reasonable solution that works for both of us. I am updating my two stars to five because of this.
I absolutely hate being the person who comes online to publicly air issues, but unfortunately it seems this is the only avenue I have left.
I rented a 5x10 unit, and upon moving items into the unit discovered the insulation above was a balloon of water, that shortly after started leaking. I went to the office to notify Stephen. He tried to get ahold of the regional manager, but was unsuccessful so he allowed me to move my times to a 10x20, which was the only unit available. Thankfully I had help moving that day, and had a truck available to me, so we were able to move my items.
Days later I hear from from Stephen. He was SO kind and accommodating. He offered a 10x10 unit, which sounds like a compromise, except I no longer have the moving help or truck available. The regional manager said they would absolutely not budge on price for the unit I had to move my items to. I asked if I could speak to her directly, but was never given her number or an email I could contact her with.
At this point- they are expecting me to either pay full price, move my items for a THIRD time, and will not be hiring moving help or a truck for me to move my items with. I can not afford to take additional time off work to accommodate them for a storage unit that was not up to par when I moved into it.
The unit I originally rented was 117, I was also able to see 111 had significant water hanging within the insulation also. I am curious to know what solutions they offered the units between, 113 &115. Do the renters of those units know their items could be ruined? Did they offer them to move into a different unit? If there are numerous customers being effected, how has a more appropriate solution not been presented?
According to their mission statement they adhere to "the ability to work with our valued customers," yet I did not experience this.
Instead of 1 star, I am giving 2, because Stephen has been kind, and understanding. Also, the facility is very clean! ~Krista
