7 Best liquor store in Plymouth, Minnesota (MN) 2024

This place is chill and they have a nice cat. The prices were very reasonable, especially on the non name brand stuff. I felt like a third of the store was vodka, but that might be because there's a lot of Russian retail in the area. I'm not complaining! ~Ty

First, let me say that I really appreciate the owner letting me purchase a bottle of Eagle Rare from his private stock. I was prepared to buy another more expensive bottle from him as well to show my appreciation. But when I got to the register I saw that the $30 bottle was marked up to $45. I’ve seen it marked up to $35 often but never to $45. After the sticker shock I asked how much the other bottle was and he said $100. Again, over priced. I felt like he was taking advantage of me because these bottles aren’t on the shelf and he could name his price. He was right, because I really wanted the Eagle Rare for a Christmas gift so the joy it was going to bring to someone else was enough for me to still buy it, albeit reluctantly. This store went from earning my business to losing it very quickly. I am an avid whiskey/bourbon drinker myself and they had a great selection of other bottles on the shelf at fair prices. I could have made this my go-to place for bottles. But I can’t support someone who is willing to take advantage of new customers. The only way to get more loyal customers is to treat the new ones right. The reviewer below me has a similar sentiment. ~Nick

Lunds and Byerlys grocery stores have all the essentials you could ever need. They also have extras that some stores do not have. Great produce & vegetables always. Plymouth and Maple Grove stores have super friendly staff always willing to help you find everything. Drive-up/curbside service at Plymouth is really slick with their app - highly recommend it. ~Laurie

Wow a great selection for the size of store at amazing prices. The new owner has really turn this place around and he even brought in liquor that I requested. Glad to see Jim's Liquor back to life. ~ravi

My husband and I stopped in there Saturday afternoon to pick up a birthday gift on the way to a party. The 2 women working there greeted us right when we came in, were so fun and friendly to us while we shopped and went out of their way to help us decorate a birthday bag! Excellent service! ~Jennifer

Small booze dispensery. The employees are great, the selection is ok. Parking in & out is perfect. Get to know the people that work here. They are just like you & me. Off 36th & 169. Next to a Russian store. Arkadys. They will stare at you when you walk in, & unless you speak Russian, they will continue to stare. The candy with booze in it is good. Otherwise, they are strangely distant. ~David

Stopped here omw to my brothers as I am quartined here since my mother in law is in town and I can t go home ughhhh. I digress...small store I almost missed it . Parking in front is tight. Upon entering I was immediately asked if I needed help by a you g .an with long reddish hair I can't recall his name. They have a small domestic beer selection. But a great iPa and craft beer selection. They so have a nice whiskey stash too if you are a brownie like me. But the wine is where it is at ...great selection and they make it easy for wine dummies like me and put tags on to rate them. The young man was very knowledgeable on all liquor fronts and was master of the get crushed. Found me a nice double ipa..mosaic. great little store worth the visit if my little brother didn't live so damn far away. ~Ryan
