6 Best bank in Kansas City, Missouri (MO) 2024

I was told by Robin (Manager) that I couldn't cash a Cashiers Check from 'Bank Of America' because "the check didn't come from this branch and it was dated for today". With no initiative of her own, Ms. Robin called the other branch only after I suggested she do so to verify. No wonder the rating for this branch is 2.2 stars, and the lobby was empty at 4:30pm on a Friday. ~Daniel

My mother and I were helped by a woman named Kamiera and she was amazing. She was super kind, patient and helpful, even when we ran into an issue she was flexible and did whatever she could to help us. We were in and out of there in maybe 20 minutes with cash in hand. We received nothing but the highest respect here from her. Would highly recommend, great customer service! ~Natalie

I've had an account with this credit union for almost 25 years. I currently hold a Mortgage/Credit Card/Money Market/Checking and Savings with them and I've had auto loans as well. It was an amazing institution at one time and unfortunately I often find that it has done nothing but go down hill with its growth and success in the KC market place. Back in the day they would literally remove over draft charges for long term customers with no problematic history. These days they don't pay squat to save money with them and will quickly charge you more than you've made in 2 years on a money market account if you dip below whatever number they have in place. It's just sad how greedy a neighborhood credit union has got. They might be better than the big banks still but there's not much difference anymore. I would be hard pressed to recommend them over another at this point, they are basically the same now. ~Jerah

Sam was the person that helped me today. She did a wonderful job she was very fast and understandable. She helped me understand what loan helped me the best choice for me.
