My family and I were on our way back to our hotel June 16, 2022, when we decided to stop off at this Hy-Vee store for a few snacks and primarily grab dinner; which is where the horrible rating stems from mostly. We have a Hy-Vee in our town and is always amazing service, food and employees. Which is what we expected at this location but sadly it didn’t even come close, felt more like shopping at a Walmart. Let me explain: When we first got to the store around 3pm we made our way to get Chinese food as there was a BOGO that day, however no one was there or even came after standing there for a few minutes. We decided to just go grab all our items and come back, to which we then stood there for about 3-4mins before someone actually even walked by (manager I believe) she hollered instructions for someone to come help us get food to with no one responded or came to help. She (the manager) then came a couple minutes later right as an employee emerged to meet her half way and still ignoring us completely. The lady then again instructed there crew of employees to help us get food as she’s discussing business matters with the employee that met her half way. But yet still couple more minutes goes by and still absolutely zero interactions with anyone in the slightest. So we decided we’d go to the Wahlburgers to sit down and eat, yet when we walked in there was an older employee was sitting at the front area messing with her nails and phone, never even looking up to acknowledge us at all even with kids saying hi. We then sat down for a amour 3-4 minutes and still no one came over or at the minimum acknowledged us being there at all. So we simply decided to leave all together without ever grabbing food for our dinners and just went to get fast food at Nebraska City. This was by far the worst experience we’ve had at a Hy-Vee and some of the worst experience at a grocery store. Clearly the employees didn’t care to interact with their shoppers and all seemed to have something better to do along with what appears to be ZERO respect for their managers when told to do anything as they simply ignored the manager and her orders. Terrible service all around and would not recommend stopping there for anything, just simply go to a gas station as you’ll get better service there than what you would at this store. Disappointing. ~Logan

Worst pharmacy ever. Had a prescription that couldn't be filled till a certain date. Was told I could pick it up 3 days early. Went to pick it up and was told I can't get it till tomorrow. Next day called ahead so I wouldn't waste a trip. This time I was told again I can't get it till tomorrow. Now just recently was waiting in line foe over 20 minuets. I've been told before to pull ahead or give us 5 minutes. they are so un organized and misinformed. Need to get their poop in a group. ~Adam

The pizza was excellent. Their delivery app ripped me off. Probably best to just pick it up yourself. ~Jon

I placed my order online and then headed up to pick up on my way out of town. I had one vehicle in front of me when I arrived. When I got to the speaker I was asked to wait a second and they would be back to assist me. I sat there for 10 minutes and even moved my vehicle back and forth to try and activate the system. She finally came back and said Sorry, order when ready. I let them know I ordered online and then pulled around and waited another 15 minutes with 1 car in front of me. When we got to the window, she asked if we had just a diet coke and I said no we had the app order. She said she would get us out order. I pulled away almost 30 minutes from the time I pulled up. I know finding employees is difficult but that is crazy and I would think anything longer than 5 minutes in a drive thru would be too long! ~Robert

I love this store so I was so happy to see it come to Plattsmouth! This store is very clean, always well stocked and has very friendly employees. Of course, the prices are great. It is fun walking in with $20 and walking out with a few bags of goodies and household cleaners. They also regularly change their stock so you never know what you will find. ~Jennifer
