Worst pharmacy ever. Had a prescription that couldn't be filled till a certain date. Was told I could pick it up 3 days early. Went to pick it up and was told I can't get it till tomorrow. Next day called ahead so I wouldn't waste a trip. This time I was told again I can't get it till tomorrow. Now just recently was waiting in line foe over 20 minuets. I've been told before to pull ahead or give us 5 minutes. they are so un organized and misinformed. Need to get their poop in a group.

I can always count on my refill medication to be on hand when I call the pharmacy and can pick up my meds same day. The original Ruffner's crew at HyVee has always worked with me and gone above and beyond to help with any issues, or needs I've had. I don't usually post written reviews, but I was even given the the ability to contact a pharmacist after hours when I was given a new injection for my son's diabetes that was difficult to use and felt I should share this. I rarely have any problems getting meds for myself and my family. Yes, I have had issues with newer HyVee employees working there, but I would discreetly discuss these with the pharmacist and it would be addressed and usually resolved. Yes, they get busy as the only pharmacy in the area and if you are getting a new, or one time prescription, they might need to order it in, but I always get a phone message as soon as it arrives. Do make sure your doctor has the correct pharmacy fax number, and note that the Doctor's office may not send it immediately and the pharmacy may have you call them, since the Doctor's office will respond more quickly to their patients one phone call than a random pharmacy calling them 3 times. Overall, I have been happy with my pharmacy and grateful that they are only 10 minutes from home, so I don't have to drive 20 or more miles to get to a pharmacy.

This is a decent pharmacy. They’ve had both my husband and I’s prescriptions in stock when we go. Most of the times the refills are ready long before the time given, often within two hours. It’s busy, as the only rx in Plattsmouth, but not near as long of a wait as any of the ones in Bellevue. I’ve never spoken to the pharmacist, but haven’t needed to. There are a lot of bad reviews, and I’d like to defend the pharmacy some. I worked in a pharmacy in college and can attest to the fact that your doctor’s office is not always truthful about when they have called the pharmacy. They haven’t. Or, they called the wrong one. Of course they tell you they did it! They don’t want to get yelled at, or lose your business for being so busy or forgetful they haven’t gotten to your request yet. When the pharmacy asks you to call it’s because as a patient you have more leverage to get your doctor to respond and they’ve probably called 2-3 times already with no response. Doctors send things to the wrong pharmacy frequently, so they have “sent” it, just not to the pharmacy you showed up to. If patients treated their pharmacy staff half as nicely as they did their doctor’s, I may have gone to pharmacy school after all.

If I could rate them less than a 1, I would. Since they bought Shopko’s pharmacy in Plattsmouth, NE. They “never” have the prescriptions that are faxed in by the doctor’s. I always have to have the doctors office refax at least 2 to 3 times. Today it was the 4th time, plus the nurse called them. Then when I went there, they said they didn’t get it, and they were out of the one medication. After talking with the manager, she called the nurse back, and got another verbal authorization, and the they found they did have the medication. It’s ridiculous. My two doctors I go to, said they are getting a lot of complaints on the Plattsmouth’s Hy-Vee pharmacy. I never had a problem with Shopko, so I will probably be taking my business elsewhere. My doctor said they can set up a mailing of the medication from another pharmacy.

I called in a prescription on a Tuesday that needed re-authorization. On the following Saturday, my wife went to pick it up and was told that the doctor's office hadn't responded yet, so WE should contact them about it. She called the doctor's office, who told her that they had reauthorized it on Friday - BEFORE we ran out. Most of the time, it seems that they have to order the medicines from somewhere else and have it delivered - because it's usually impossible to get it the same day. I miss ShopKo's pharmacy so much.

They have 7+ workers and still cant manage to fill a prescription. I called my script in two hours before going there and they still didnt have it ready. I dont know what's worse how slow they are or they're rude judgmental workers. Wish shopko still had their pharmacy this place is awful. Hate the pharmacy.

Epi-pens expire in 12 months but they only give ones that at the most expire in 6 months. The one I just received expires in 5. They cost about 500 dollars. My insurance covers the majority of it but still I don't want to have to worry about getting one in 5 months when it expires. I am going to start going somewhere else even though it is more convenient to go to Hyvee. I don't like being scammed or the that other families will.

Reviewing to combat the 1 star review. This pharmacy is a GOOD pharmacy. Not a great one, and they just received tons of patients from shopko pharmacy. (Edited 4/7/19) still a good pharmacy. Google is cropping my sentances. I rated it 4 out of 5 because sometimes they are out of stock of common prescriptions sometimes. Being the only pharmacy in plattsmouth yall need to have a good supply of the common stuff.

We filled a prescription on a Saturday morning. We notified that it was ready for pick up at 2:45 PM on Saturday. Knowing they close at 3 PM we rushed over to find them already closed. When speaking with two different managers we were told that only the pharmacist could access the medication, which is understandable. We then explained that it is our dog's anti-seizure medicine and asked if they could call the pharmacist in for an emergency. Management said that the pharmacists do not answer their phones when the pharmacy is closed, even for emergencies. We do not recommend this pharmacy at all. They were untimely when notifying us of an important prescription pick up and were very unhelpful when dealing with an emergency.
