Let me start by saying the volunteers here are very nice and helpful .My review is probably about the food bank issues in the state as a whole. When I went here over half of the food I received was expired, some things by years .I didn't even feel it was safe to consume. As a society we need to do better. We wouldn't eve let shelteranimals eat expired foods .we need to start treating our poor better. It's hard enough to bring yourself to a food pantry. ~Kelli

The owner/old man is one of the rudest individuals with the worst customer service I've ever met..! Bought my first gun there 20 years ago, brought my son to buy his first gun there only to be treated like we were not worthy of his time.. After driving almost an hour to get there.. Arrogant and condencending are another way i would describe him.. With many other local shops in the area, WAYYYYY friendlier options, not sure why anybody would waste there time driving to Alstead. Go to Monadnock firearms or Old Glory instead. You won't be disappointed, or treated poorly, like we were after dealing with Alstead.. ~Donald

Cute little store, excellent food and selection. Coffee was tasty but could be hotter (I came in the afternoon that may be why) we got a Barnyard Burger and it was absolutely delicious 😋 and huge! They spiffed up the inside as well and it's much more open. Their cookies were delicious too ~Trigger
