Let me start by saying the volunteers here are very nice and helpful .My review is probably about the food bank issues in the state as a whole. When I went here over half of the food I received was expired, some things by years .I didn't even feel it was safe to consume. As a society we need to do better. We wouldn't eve let shelteranimals eat expired foods .we need to start treating our poor better. It's hard enough to bring yourself to a food pantry.

The people who work here are just god-sent. We are so lucky to have them in the area for people who need help every now and then. I go there if I need to, but also I love volunteering for the Thanksgiving basket every year
