8 Best clothing store in Manchester, New Hampshire (NH) 2024

I walked in carrying a large shoulder bag with me because I travel on foot sometimes. There was someone who walked in behind me who loudly said 'what's the bag for' not directly saying it to me, singling the cashier to watch me, who called for help. I dress nice and was completely puzzled and instantly uncomfortable. I had planned on making a purchase, I'm redecorating a room. But I was so humiliated I just got a drink and wanted to leave quickly. The person who had spoken up appeared to be there to just smoke cigarettes with the employees which was right in front of the entrance. I hadn't been to a Family Dollar in years, I won't be returning. ~M

Helpful and friendly staff. Update: call ahead for confirmation of store hours. For example, I went in to pick up an order on 9/11/21. I arrived at 11:20 the posted store hours are 11:00-7:00. The store was closed and no signage advertising closed for [memorial]. This was also something that happened in December 2020 during the holiday season. In December I had to decline my overseas order and return it. ~Glo

I had an awesome experience with one of the employees today and wanted to leave a review. On a typical visit some seem really uninterested or bored (and I can't say I super blame them) but tonight I went in with some questions about an odd situation with a pickup in store order. One of the younger guys is always super helpful and he was tonight! He helped find a remedy for the order issue and was fantastic at explaining what he thought about everything, and made sure I went home with my order. Something I've always appreciated about this American Eagle is the customer service and I was not disappointed tonight. So shout out to you, blonde guy from the American eagle, you rock. ~Sofia

I use to shop at this store when I was a teenager and I kinda still do till this very day. I like the clothes they have here but some clothes are expensive sometimes they do have sales on their clothes . But anyways they have the left side is for men or boys and the right side of this store is for girls or woman. The staff here are nice and friendly people. The floors are clean and yes they do have dressing or fitting rooms here as well. This place is inside the Manchester new Hampshire mall. ~Dennis

Wow! Person working today 3/4/22 around 5:30pm was excellent! The young man was patient and even asked if everything was alright. Great worker and I would come back again for him. ~Dan

I had a fantastic experience in Tilly’s yesterday thanks to Hannah. She was super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in until the time I left. She helped me with the jeans and sizing (we were about the same size, so that helped!) They didn’t have one of the pairs in stock, so ordered the other online for me so I could still get the deal. I felt so welcomed and valued, and Hannah was so fantastic at her job! I work in another store in the mall and it was great to see those in other places being so great at their jobs!
