Had the Submarino don pepe (calamares fritos, ceviche de pescado y arroz con mariscos o chaufa de mariscos) which is Fried calamari, fish cooked in lime juice & Peruvian paella w/ mix seafood or seafood fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. According to our server, it appears the paella and the seafood fried rice is the same thing 🤷‍♂️, so there wasn’t an option but I’m not complaining as the seafood fried rice, as it seemed to me, was fantastic. The fried calamari had a very crispy breading and was also very tender. We also had the fried yucca (forgot to take a pic of the sauces that were placed on the table) which went extremely well with the creamy jalapeño sauce. The ceviche was soooo good and learned it was tilapia, not my favorite, but in this case I became an instant fan with this preparation. The place looks like a whole in the wall but don’t let that fool you, this is a diamond in the rough. Service was good, prices were fair and the food was excellent, I will go back! ~Tom
