Had the Submarino don pepe (calamares fritos, ceviche de pescado y arroz con mariscos o chaufa de mariscos) which is Fried calamari, fish cooked in lime juice & Peruvian paella w/ mix seafood or seafood fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. According to our server, it appears the paella and the seafood fried rice is the same thing 🤷♂️, so there wasn’t an option but I’m not complaining as the seafood fried rice, as it seemed to me, was fantastic. The fried calamari had a very crispy breading and was also very tender. We also had the fried yucca (forgot to take a pic of the sauces that were placed on the table) which went extremely well with the creamy jalapeño sauce. The ceviche was soooo good and learned it was tilapia, not my favorite, but in this case I became an instant fan with this preparation. The place looks like a whole in the wall but don’t let that fool you, this is a diamond in the rough. Service was good, prices were fair and the food was excellent, I will go back!

This is the WORST Peruvian food I have tried in my life! The service was not the best (actually the server was kind of lost with the menu) but the food was discussing. Sorry for calling the food discussing but I cannot find any better word to describe the food. The roasted chicken was stuck in my throat from dry and hard. Even my mom could not pass the food down. The flavor of the food was very discussing! My dad got stomach ache all day from the food. I DO NOT recommend this place to eat.

I ordered tallarin with pesto sauce, and there was a big bug in it! My daughter almost eat the bug! It was very disgusting! That place needs to be fumigated as soon as possible!

We were spending the weekend in NJ and decided to stop there. Really good ambiance and food. We took advantage of their happy hour for food and it was well worth it. The flavors were unexpected, complex and simple at the same time really delicious.

The food is fresh, and full of flavor. Their chicken soup is second to none. The roasted chicken, OUT OF THIS WORLD. I ordered delivery and they even called me to tell me that some of the prices on line weren’t correct, they were fixing them, and that I overpaid (I wouldn’t have noticed). I just told them to send more food lol great home style food, appears to have a great family behind it running it, will definitely make this one of my go to places. THANK YOU!

A small place that you pass by a million times and regret that you haven't gone there sooner! The food is very good and traditional. The service was great and prices still reasonable considering all that has gone on lately. Will definitely make this a regular place for me!

The food is SO delicious but the staff are pretty rude when it's busy. This place is always busy, it deserve a 5 for the Aji Sauce but the Calamari and muscles are too rubbery, this is the 3x I had their seafood dishes at this location.

It's an ok place, had better Peruvian food somewhere else in the past, service not the greatest. Waitress didn't know the menu or any specifics on the food Intrigued by service fee? Waitress couldn't explain what was that for 🤯

Roastery chicken is 5 out of 5! The place is small there is like 6-7 tables but we ate there safely since it wasn't crowded. The portions are pretty big, there is a lunch menu that is price and size wise pretty good. Staff are friendly. I think they cook the chicken on charcoal and it has a great smokey taste.
