Called on the phone regarding repair of a watch stem. The person that answered the phone Asked me what's wrong, I told them in kind of detail, After my explanation of the situation, she then says I don't speak English and hands me off to somebody else. That person asked me what's wrong with the watch I begin to explain to them the situation again and what I would like to do. if I Brought the watch in could somebody look at it today, tell me what's wrong, and possibly fix it today. And could I pick it up the same day. After a pause, where they had to go talk to what I thought would be the person fixing the watch, they came back and said bring the watch in. Our watch repair man will look at the watch, tell you what's wrong with it, tell me how much it's gonna cost to fix, and if it could be fixed today. And If i could pick it up today. if not, I would be able to pick it up the following Saturday. I drive down there thinking that all is right with the world, I walk in and I ask to speak to the gentleman who's the watch repair man, I was informed there is no such person there, I explain the situation and what transpired on the telephone and they told me oh no that doesn't happen here we send our watches out to get fixed and it would be a considerable amount of time before you could get it back, a week or so.
I said thank you and left the establishment.
I don't know about any other business transactions with this store, or how business is conducted or ran at this store, I don't know about The staff or how they treat coustomers or anything else regarding this store.
I am just saying how my interaction with them was with them, you can make up your own mind by that. ~Jeffrey
