Flat tire from tear on sidewall. Car had no spare. Roadside Assistance left me stranded for 7 hours on the interstate. They said they couldn't help because there was a tornado warning--I was left on the interstate. 11 hours after requesting roadside assistance, Budget got around to getting a tow truck driver. Budget staff delayed, then about 10 hours later an employee outright refused to get a rideshare driver and provide a replacement car (intentional infliction of emotional distress). I told the employee that stating they would delay getting the replacement even further as punishment for me asking for clarification on the employee advising me to leave the vehicle. I received an inflated bill based on known false information claiming I returned the vehicle to the wrong location. Budget staff were reminded that the Roadside Assistance would mean a tow truck driver returned the car. Budget created an invoice based on known false information, took my money via coercion, but they don't stop there. I call about correcting the bill. I am told they could remove the charges as a courtesy but refused (I loved getting more documentation to support intentional infliction of emotional distress). A second employee stated they would only refund a partial amount. A third employee stated they would also only refer a partial amount different than the 2nd employee's alleged refund. I have a big regulatory complaint to write. ~Will
