Best furniture store in Princeton, New Jersey (NJ) 2024

TJ is an excellent designer and our experience with her continues to be amazing! She is very pleasant and fun to work with and has great taste. She is also very knowledgeable about her products as well as dimensions and functionality of the products. She has made great suggestions and has been patient with us as we purchase an entire home of new furniture. We have taken many trips to the store as we need time to digest the ideas and plans, she has been patient with us and wonderful during the whole process. I've needed to buy a new bed/mattress for a long while now - the last time I bought one was 1994 (don't judge me 😊). I didn't leave the house planning to buy at all. Since it was Presidents Day weekend though (supposedly the best time to buy), I figured I'd stop in to educate myself, test out some beds and get a feel for prices. Tom was very friendly, helpful and patient. He listened to my needs (and my corny jokes, also sharing a few of his own), showed me mattresses to try and helped me to understand their benefits so I could determine which were most relevant and important to me. After trying about 7, I selected a mattress which seemed to fit me like a glove (I almost fell asleep on it in the store), and it was delivered 2 days later. I am glad that my unplanned visit to the West Windsor Mattress Firm was a such a pleasant and positive experience, especially after procrastinating on this purchase for so long. ~Stella

Lovely store, but disappointingly expensive. $3000 for a beautiful, but relatively small-ish sofa that doesn't come with any living room accessories like a set? $300 accent chairs, etc. Despite selling more furniture items, price-wise, it does not feel in alignment with its sister stores Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and At Home. To be fair, there are some decently priced items like poufs and lamps, but you'd be better off just going to any of the sister stores for the same quality with better pricing. It looks like a Home Goods, but has pricing like West Elm. It's not for me. ~Asha
