Says online they open at 6 AM weekdays and i’m 99% sure they always did before this new management.. but when i go 10 min before 7 someone tells me through the window without the courtesy of even opening it that theyr closed (and rudely). Like fix it online or just let me order a coffee if your already there…. ~B

Perfact exemple of a company where its easier to order by phone rather then the website, they know you from the caller ID, so the phone call goes like this: LIS: "Long Island Staple, what can i get you ?" ME: "I need 2 cases of ..." LIS: "you got it !!" AND THATS IT !!! be sure its at my door the next morning. Before i forget, its always in stock, best quality, cheepest pricing. ~Salko

I genuinely can say that my experience with Safeguard Self Storage has been INCREDIBLE and this is for one MAJOR illuminating reason: CLIVE. When I came into the office I was greeted by a gentleman who immediately gave off that ESSENCE of ~EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE~ and trust me, I know good hospitality, I have worked in the hospitality industry for 12+ years now. Let me set the scene for you: it was a slightly busy day when I came in, Clive had customers coming in asking for help throughout the time I was signing my paperwork & going over all the terms for the unit he had helped me pick out that was best suited for my needs. He was able to manage all of the clients questions or need for assistance without leaving me waiting or the other clients waiting. He simultaneously was able to manage all of these things at once without leaving any question of mine unanswered. He is without a doubt this companies BEST ASSET. When I came to post this review, I was genuinely so happy to see that so many others feel the same as I do about Clive. He is incredible and obviously I am not alone when it comes to how we are all grateful to have worked with Clive. This man DESERVES A RAISE, a promotion, a pay raise, SOMETHING GREAT, because CLEARLY he is doing all the things right!!!!!!!!!!!! I promise you, if it weren’t for Clive’s excellent personality and helpfulness, I perhaps might have shopped around looking for a storage unit just to see what options I had… I did not need to, thanks to Clive. Baruch Hashem, my wife dropped off our car for Tony to inspect and, unfortunately, he failed us in 2 ways: 1. The inspection was done in June but it took until August 3rd to get our email. 2. He put the wrong insurance information on the report. When I called to ask him to fix the paperwork, he blamed us for giving him the wrong paperwork. But we didn't give him any paperwork. On the contrary, my wife told me he asked a few questions, looked at the car, and then entered info into the computer. So it is not clear why he put the wrong insurance info but obviously my insurance carrier won't accept this and now I am being penalized because of Merc's mistakes.
