Exceptional: Today was my first experience and from coffee to food to vibe / interaction all was perfect. Ice coffee was amazingly, first time out of the gate and worth the $5. It was on the dark side, super smooth,almost creamy. The only coffee I can truly say that about in recent days in Manhattan! Got my day off to perfect Saturday start. Already looking forward to my next visit! I've often driven by and seen a line so this hidden neighborhood treasure is clearly appreciated. Pandemic hours still so closing was 1pm but they stayed open as a few more popped in for weekend muffins and birthday treats. ~Jessica

My family loves Galapagos Books! The proprietor, Amada Abad is the sweetest person, supports local authors and will go the extra mile for customers. She is also a wonderful resource for foreign language books. Chatting with her is 100% more pleasurable than ordering online! ~Patty

My husband and I tried Maud’s for the first time this evening and were seriously impressed. From the incredibly attentive wait staff, the delicious food, the views of the water…what more could you want?! I have tried so many salons around the River towns and decided to give this place a try. Stephanie was amazing- she listened and was careful to make the experience exactly what I asked for. She was kind and very talented- I left feeling beautiful! Samar was very kind and welcoming as well. It is a small business so you really get treated with care and respect. Amazing, is an understatement! My husband and I just had our wedding there on August 21 after two years of planning and we could not be more thankful for Johns amazing service and just coming across as venue overall. From the start they gave us the attention that we needed no matter how far out our event was. The director, John was always there to answer any questions Even when he was running around in the background hosting another event. He provided Us with all the tools that we needed to make sure we did not over spend money, by giving us a complete layout of everything that the venue would provide, and pointed us in the direction of several vendors that he trusted, to make our search process easier. Once the time and date for our event began to approach and it was time to finalize the details everyone was very helpful even when we had things to change last minute. The food tasting was amazing, and they treated us with top-notch service even though it was just a tasting, they allowed us to drop off stuff for our other vendors in advance making things easier the day of the wedding. The day of our rehearsal we had a maître d’ that was there assisting us and giving advice on the order that we should do everything and explaining what would work best. The day of the wedding was amazing! Everything was set up how they said it would be, they assisted us with last-minute changes, and most of all they made sure our timeline was ran smoothly. Every single one of our guests continues to praise us on how amazing the venue was, how great the food and drinks were, and how professional all of the servers were. I have no words to express how thankful I am To them, and most of all to John for helping making our wedding day a literal dream come true. I recommend these guys for any event, trust me you will not regret it. Attached you will see the picture first of the meals we served at our wedding & The table set up the day of the wedding. Please don’t come here I came here to get a haircut and highlights and the hairstylist didn’t even wash my hair good a few hours after I got home I felt something on the back of my head I’m very disappointed was hoping to be able to come back but not after this if the hairstylist would’ve washed my hair properly this wouldn’t have happened! I had to wash my hair again and saw that my hair wasn’t cut right and the back of my head is still red! ~Sharon
