While the haircut was fine. We were charged $15 dollars more than the price listed on the website. When I went back to ask, I was told that the prices were changed, but it was not updated on the website. A $15 increase in a haircut price seems a bit much. Overall I find this place very over priced. After tipping everyone and taxes it was over $65 for a kids haircut. With no offer for a free bang trim. Service: Haircut

I have tried so many salons around the River towns and decided to give this place a try. Stephanie was amazing- she listened and was careful to make the experience exactly what I asked for. She was kind and very talented- I left feeling beautiful! Samar was very kind and welcoming as well. It is a small business so you really get treated with care and respect. A Manhattan haircut in Hastings? Look no further! After searching near and far for a stylist comparable to my experiences in Manhattan, I was so happy to find a local stylist that can give a cut with personality and modern style. I showed up with styles that I saved in my Pinterest board and thought if I can get close to these styles, I'd love it. Samar matched the style that I was looking for! I recently got a half-head of highlights done by Samar and let me just start by saying my hair came out amazing! It's difficult to find someone good with blondes in NY, but Samar exceeded my expectations. Not only did she listen to what I asked for (which was very blonde), but she went out of her way to make sure my hair maintained its health. Had the pleasure of having my hair done by Samar for the first time and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She pays so much attention to detail and the color came out exactly how I wanted. I was not sure what style I wanted, but Samar has a gift for envisioning a style that truly matches your face. I have never been so satisfied with the results at a hair salon. I also got keratin treatment done and my hair feels amazing. The service was unmatched. Got a haircut from Samar and I very much enjoyed it. The haircut came out great and she was also very friendly and sweet. I came in without much of an idea of what I wanted and she did a great job walking me through what she thought would look good. I definitely recommend this stylist if you're a man with longer hair, since that is what I have.

I have had two great experiences with Samar at Hastings Beauty salon. the salon is small but nicely appointed; parking is convenient. My previous stylist a year ago, and I kind of let my hair go during the pandemic -- twice Samar has fixed the mess, and has given me an attractive, easy to manage hair style at a very reasonable price.
