Sergio cared more about my hair than making his money. I appreciated all that he said and recommended about my hair type and maintenance requirements. He guided me based in my needs when I told him I have no time to upkeep. He told me that what I wanted to do required alot of upkeep and it would be pricy in the long run. No other consultation or Hairdresser i went to prior to him told me that. What to have an honest consultatuon ask for Sergioy. Highly impressed and Highly reccommend. I once called to consult about pricing for hair color services. Whomever I spoke to sounded very snobby and they asked me what my ethnicity and what my hair texture was!. It came off as very racist because what does my race have to do with coloring my hair? Needless to say I never booked an appointment or called ever again. Their work is impressive but that definitely turned me off.

I booked the appointment to see Megan and spoke with Sergio on the phone who was professional and friendly. In my 10 yrs experience in New York I have come to realization that 90% of hair stylists do not know how to work on brunettes with red undertone hair color and cover the grays. I have walked out of several salons who claim credibility, spending big money but with shoe polish black roots. Megan knew exactly and used that same term, that’s when I knew she was going to help me. She fixed the bad color job from my previous “mistake” and worked so hard and dedicated time to do a beautiful job. She brought my hair back to life and looking super natural. Whenever I’m back in New York I will definitely come back to see her. It’s so refreshing to know that there are people who actually became hairstylist because they have a gift and they know the chemistry of hair. I reached out to Sergio in a desperate attempt to correct some well meaning but brassy hilights from a local colorist. I told him I wanted a cooler blonde tone. He responded in a timely manner and was upfront, kind, yet realistic about what I could expect before even meeting or confirming appointment. He was honest and patient, gave me his advise and even made himself available at a time he was not. During the visit he was quick, efficient, and ended up giving me exactly what I was looking for! Patricia blew out my hair and was extremely gracious and kind as well. If you are considering coming for services by Sergio just do it!! Dont second guess-he will 100% take care of you. Segio is absolutely amazing! He made sure to be gentle with my hair because I had damaged hair from bleaching my hair in the past, my hair is also very fine. He used olaplex on my hair and explained how it protects the hair from the bleach. Sergio took his time when doing my highlights and made sure everything blended seamlessly. He truly is a great artist and does amazing work with blond hair. Service: Hair coloring

Went for cut, color & styling (natural curly hair) left the salon past closing with really damaged and un-styled hair. Paid about $400 for everything (overpriced$$). Got home and cried my self to bed in hopes that it would look better the next day... It did not, I called them back & they did ask me to come back. Once the owner saw the mess my hair was, he showed the hairdresser how to fix the cut and style it. Second day my hair looked a bit better but still not what I hoped for. The experience itself was traumatizing. Though they did fix it, I didn’t enjoy being in the hands of someone who didn’t have experience with my type of hair. Specially being left alone in the salon past closing with unexperienced (with natural curls) hairdresser.

It felt like my hair in the right hands! 🙌🏼😃 I didn’t expect that coloring my hair can be so entertaining and fun. We all know how important it is to trust the person who does your hair.☝🏼 Sergio made me so comfortable and relaxed that the only thing I did was enjoying his creativity and professionalism. I was very pleased with the color and the result overall. Sergio gave me some fancy treatments for my hair to look healthy and shiny. Also very important for me is the convenience of the location. The salon is close to the subway station 🙌🏼

I finally found the place I was looking for all my life !!! My hair never looked so good before! I have curly hair and i was struggling for years how to style it and how to deal with it and Serge was the first person who knew exactly what to do and did such an amazing job with it and it looks great and I never been so happy about my hair until now. Serge also explained to me how to style it and what products to use and what to take to make my hair healthy and looking good. I thank God for sending Serge to my life lol ! And the best part is that they are not expensive as hair dressers in Manhattan are .

Sergio has been my hairdresser for at least 3 years now. Each time I return to him confident in the fact that he will work around my ever changing hair color. The last two times he tried the baby highlights, which, by the way, he masters, and my hair looks and feels amazing. I highly recommend him to anyone. Plus, he make really good espressos :-) Wonderful job, as per usual.
