Be careful! They advised me to buy a travel card as a backup card to my credit card during travel. What they didn't tell me is that they code the transaction as a cash advance. I had large unexpected fees and interest on the purchase, and when I called my bank, the only way to stop the daily interest changes on the travel card purchase was to pay off my credit card in full. I had unusual expenses because I was buying airfare, etc. for the trip, and I had to pay it all off in one day to stop paying interest on the money I had put on the travel card. I never do cash advances, and I would not have done one to get a travel card if AAA had told me that was how they were coding the purchase.
