Got two turkey subs with a side of pasta salad. The first one had no mayo on it when we specifically told them to substitute the jerk sauce for mayo. The second one had barely any mayo which made the sandwich dry. Both subs had very little turkey on it maybe 2 slices and one slice of cheese cut in half and placed a half of slice on each side of the bread. Don’t get me started on the bread which was tasted old and soft. Not real Italian bread you would expect for a hoagie. The pasta salad was tasteless and had barely any dressing in it. Very dry! The reviews on here shock me because they must of never had a real submarine sandwich or maybe these reviews were done by people that are friends with the owner. Extremely disappointing for the long wait we had thinking the place was going to be good. ~Bobby

Stopped for sodas and ice. Best customer service. The skinny, tattooed guy was so friendly and fast. He noticed our little kids in the back seat and came back with lollipops. They’ll be fans for life. ~Lisa

Got charged $8.51 for a bag of chips and a bottle of soda each marked $0.99 on the packaging. They'll charge you whatever they feel like that day. Near everything is expired, beware. ~Charlie

In August of 2021 on vacation I thought my radiator blew about 1 mile away...Office Manager (Crystal?) was awesome and helped me out after hours to contact & set up an appointment with JB's Auto Repair for the next business day. JB worked on my vehicle ASAP at the garage here and was more than fair and honest and fixed my problem (which was a power steering seal/clip) for $85. Trust me, anyone could have taken me to the cleaners on that one (prescribing a more expensive /solution/diagnosis) but, these folks at Whalebone Citco were so very cool, patient, honest, responsive, fair, understanding & extra helpful. Salt of the earth good folks. Thanks Whalebone Citgo and I love my T-Shirt (they have a awesome design and make great gifts) see you in August. 7/16 & 7/20/22 Shopping for food at OBX during beach vacation. Always able to find excellent quality fresh fruit and vegetables, Boar's Head deli meats, butcher's cuts of steaks, pork and chicken. Bought eggs, milk, bread, Diet Lipton Peach Tea and Pineapple Mango Tea, Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Beer, cheeses, chips. Staff are friendly & will direct you to items you need. Everyone at this location added to our enjoying shopping here. Plenty of parking and store is clean & well stocked. Highly recommend this grocery store! Tef ~Tommie

Another good gas station that has free air! I like QP's focus on refueling and not being a full convenience store. This makes it faster without having to navigate the additional customers that are going inside. It is a touch hard to get into when traveling south due to the close proximity to the stop light. ~C

This is my 4th time at the OBX and I've visited the pirates store every time since it's near our beach house. I always like coming here because I'm always greeted with a smile and I feel it's a one-stop-shop with everything I need. Some items can be a bit pricey, like the hoodies but I feel it's worth it for the quality, they're sooo soft!! I also like the fact that I can choose my own print!!!!! Definitely recommended to stop by!! ~Louann

This is a Harley-Davidson t-shirt store primarily but they do have other collectibles. The staff is warm, friendly and very helpful. I picked up a poker chip, t-shirt and a Keychain. They have a rack of on sale t-shirts that's worth checking out. The store us super clean and all products are well displayed. If you're an HD enthusiast this is a must do! 🏍💨 ~Eric

I received a text that my RX was ready. I'm currently not in NC and did not ask for a refill. I called to cancel the item and the person I spoke to argued that my profile didn't have any auto refills. I know that, I created the profile, so why is someone at this pharmacy refilling the prescription? This isn't my first problem with this CVS. In May, I wanted to get the shingles vaccine but without even checking I was told my insurance wouldn't cover it. Fortunately the Walgreens across the street checked and it was covered. If you are in KDH do yourself a favor and use Walgreens. ~Susan

What an awesome little shop! They had a great selection of T-shirts, and most of them are 100% cotton and super soft (the ones with the cloth tags). You just pick a shirt size and color that you like and then choose a design from the wall of designs and they press the image for you right there for free. And the best part, they’re 3 for $35!
