Best tex mex restaurant in Dayton, Ohio (OH) 2024

This used to be the BEST Taco Bell when I lived in the area a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, they've noticeably gone downhill. On one of my recent experiences, I ordered a Nachos Bellgrande with extra cheese and extra tomatoes. They piled it with refried beans, and it just became a plate of slop. I also ordered the Baja Blast Freeze, and was given whatever the blue Freeze is. I sent in feedback and never heard back, so I finally called their toll free number to report the issue. On a more recent visit, I tried out their breakfast. I ordered a Toasted Breakfast Burrito, with no meat. They left the meat off, but also didn't give me any tomatoes. They were out of regular size cups, so they gave me two smalls. They had no breakfast salsa and no ketchup for the hash browns. The lady working the drive thru window seemed genuinely lost. Sad that they've fallen from being such an on-the-ball, accurate location. ~Liz

The customer service was on point. The staff was very kind and courteous. The transaction was quick and the place was not over crowded. Food looked great..I was even persuaded to buy a quesadilla that I didn't need lol I didn't have to beg for more toppings because the portions given were just right. The environment was clean, well lit, and the advertising table drew my attention. The quesadilla could've been better but wasn't horrible. I'll be back to this location in the future. ~Nichole
