Speedway
This Speedway is just disgusting! The staff are rude and dirty. The young girl who handled my transaction wipe her snot with her hand and then proceeded to touch my stuff with the same hand. Unprofessional at its finest! I try hard not to go there and after today I will not be returning. ~AMANDA
Fishers Optical Center, now a part of MyEyeDr.
The doctor I had was nice, but other than that, the service was bad and they were rude, I had a really long wait time, and I didn't get into my appointment for over an hour. ~Cameron
Family Dollar
Shame on Family Dollar in North Canton on Main Street. There was an employee outside smoking who yelled at me for taking my cart to the car. She said I wasn’t allowed to take the cart. I had five bags. They were very heavy. Do you really expect me not to wheel my cart to the car? I didn’t listen to her and took my cart to my car anyway but I then returned my cart. ~christina
Yoder's Bulk Foods & Deli
Best place in North Canton to get your sandwich meats and cheeses. They also have great desserts and all at reasonable prices. Staff is fast and pleasant to talk to. ~Dave
Rite Aid
The cashier at the drive-through remembered that I had ordered Gatorade (this morning) along with the prescription for my daughter, and she had it ready to go just based on our last name. I am always impressed by this pharmacy, but today, given the circumstances, she exceeded my expectations. ~Joshua
Everhard Crossfit
Everhard offers more than just CrossFit. They also have a free weight section, they offer nutrition coaching, a Burn class, and monthly challenges. The atmosphere is very supportive and the coaching / programming is great. Attending a class is my favorite part of the day. ~James
Fishers Foods
They have similar items to other grocery stores. They have baggers and checkout lanes. However the store is not as updated or modern as other chains and they have no self checkout lanes. They have a deli, hot foods, bakery and produce department. They have a frozen food department. They carry lesser known brands with lower prices than the big name brands but the same quality. They have a gallon of orange juice that is $1.50 cheaper than other grocery stores They also have a selection of beer and wine and a express lane near the wine department. They still have a coffee grinder where you can grind whole bean coffee unlike other grocery stores who do not. They have enough parking and handicapped motorized carts. ~Rex
SOL Pie Pizza
In town for the Akron marathon and wanted to find a good pizza place! SOL Pie Pizza didn't disappoint! I got a small Mushroom pan pizza and a build your own salad. My brother got a Vegan pizza with beyond sausage, mixed peppers and mushrooms. All of the food was delicious and you can actually taste the natural ingredients, especially in the salad. The guy who cashed us out, was super cool and courtesy. If you're in the Akron area, check them out for pizza! ~Jesse
Applegrove Car Wash
They charge $30 for only 15 washes so it’s not unlimited like other car wash places. Not only is it not unlimited it’s $10 more than the unlimited places. I guess you can come here if you like paying more for less. With the unlimited wash places, you can go through 3 times in a day and they don’t care. The wash itself doesn’t do a great job at drying as it’s on a timer. The timer is not enough time to get fully dry so you’ll still have to get out on hand dry if you don’t want water spots showing. ~Random
Rpm Restorations
By far the worst experience I've had with any mechanic. I took my Datsun there to get the frame patched and floorboards repaired. The initial estimate I was given in June was $800-1000 and they said the work could be done in a day once they could fit me in. My car continued to sit at their shop for the next 6 MONTHS while I continued to get excuses about being busy and employees leaving. In November they finally left me a voicemail saying the work was done and I could pick it up any time. Before I had a chance to call back, they reached out a few days later and said they would start charging me a $20 a day storage fee until I picked it up. When I came to pick up my car that weekend, it wouldn't start. I had asked them to fix the starter and although the issue was unrelated it was still very irritating. Almost three weeks later they fixed the worn bushing and I picked up my car. To make matters worse, I also discovered a large scorch mark on my window and later I found they had replaced my working automotive battery with an old marine and RV battery. IN SUMMARY: The work they did on the frame and floorboards seems well done and I realize that jobs like this can turn into more than expected. However, this does not make up for the fact that a $1000 one day estimate turned into $3000 6 month job, new window tint and a new battery. Thoroughly annoyed and will never take my car there again. ~Ian
