5 Best grocery store in Youngstown, Ohio (OH) 2024

Love giant eagle. Been going here for over 10 years. I purchased blueberry muffins but they were wet and soggy. Kind of strange because I've never had this happen. . The restroom definitely needs attention. They should hire a couple part timers to clean the restroom at least twice per shift. Update: GE gave me a credit on my advantage card for the muffins. Very responsive too! ~Jennifer

The store is always clean. Most stores don't give free bags out. They do give them, however many Sav A lots for example Akron, give you a free grocery cart. They have a HIGH turnover of cashier's. The cashier's are friendly even if they are very slow and elderly. They have people working managerial/ supervisory positions who are condescending, I guess that makes them feel better about themselves who knows, a job is a job. Do it well so people won't give 2 or 3 star reviews. You will feel safe in this store no worries there, no one is just hanging around outside as I've seen at a couple of other Sav A lots in Ohio.. This store got a 3 for bright and clean atmosphere also 3 for price and variety of items as well. It still needs to be more accommodating to it's customer base. ~Pat

Nice selection of Wines and cheese & meat deli had a few of hard to find brand names. They also carry Lawson's Original Chip Chopped Ham, it's still very good. They sell lottery too. Keno is Available. ~sophia
