Most of the staff is nice, helpful and usually can help you find what you're looking for. Sometimes it can be hard to find an associate for assistance. They have a nice selection of goods, especially around the holidays they carry some hard to find items.

Horrible. This is the third time they tried to charge me the wrong price for bread in the bakery. One sign said 3.79 the other said 3.99. Had to argue with 4 different people before they corrected.

Love giant eagle. Been going here for over 10 years. I purchased blueberry muffins but they were wet and soggy. Kind of strange because I've never had this happen. . The restroom definitely needs attention. They should hire a couple part timers to clean the restroom at least twice per shift. Update: GE gave me a credit on my advantage card for the muffins. Very responsive too!

Very clean and well stocked. Prices are not unreasonable as long as you have an advantage card. This location has a helpful and friendly staff.

Yesterday i made a visit to giant eagle to purchase a few items .outside in front the store a man was selling barbecue ribs. As i was exting out the store there.was an older lady and she qouted to the man. That his good barbecue was making her hungry. Yes it smelled good.so i steped over and bought a half a slab. As i was walking away the man shout to me that he hope. I enjoy it.oh yes i enjoyed it. Only one word for it.it was scrumptious .and sauce was very good.I hope he come back to sell more of his delicious ribs.that made my visit to giant eagle not wasted.

They have kept their prices quite low, considering the massive inflation our Country is going through, (Thanks, Brandon) Very clean, safe, WELL stocked, & courteous associates. They have a Beautiful Wine Selection too, & they categorize them, by States in which they hail from, & they label each section by: Desert Wines, Table Wines, etc. Fresh Fruit & Produce. Great Sales too. Seafood & Fish selections were ok. Didn't see Salmon or Talapia, but it may be that I missed them. Overall, a nice Grocery Store. Close to home too. 🏡 win-win!

We purchased 2 bags of dog food...it said buy 1 get 1 half off at 16.99 a bag. They rang up at 32.99 and no half off...so she gave me 1/2 off one bag but didn't adjust the 32.99 price because someone put the label under the bigger bags of food.

Usually an overall decent experience. But, I worked for the company , and understand the level of service expected to go to the guests .. so... I get to the register , and this girl named nyria, doesn't even say hello ,, finally when she speaks , it's a direct total,didn't even ask for my advantage card , and when I remind her that I wanted to provide it , she said nothing , and seemed like I was bothering her .. very awkward ..

Several employees of 10-30 years have all said the same thing when asked " why their Giant Eagle store is so unsanitary?" ; in effect, they all seem to respond that corporate doesn't give Boardman locations enough labor hours or employees to do the job right. Notably, Giant Eagle's internal Team Member policy on safety / health / sanitary issues is: " You See it. You Own it." It would seem that this is not the case for either location in Boardman Township. We have reached out to corporate with our comments & concerns and have yet to receive a response. We also reached out to the Mahoning County Health Department and they have stopped at their two locations in Boardman several times since March 2019. As of June 2019, the single end cap cooler across from the meat department still looks the same; as does the restroom.
