I worked for Banner Bank for 6 years and even after moving on to other career industries they still treat me like family. I’ve had amazing customer service experience. I understand people’s frustration with bank policies and deposit availability questions and overdraft fees, late payment fees etc. I encourage everyone to get more educated on how their bank accounts work and have a meeting with their banker or bank manager on how things function. Cash deposits always available right away. Out of the ordinary check deposits (larger than usual) will get put on hold so they ensure you collect the money. Payday loans checks etc will always be put on hold so please don’t expect to have them cash it out when your bank balance is lower than the check. If you desperately need cash for the check go to the bank that is drawn from you may pay a small fee but it’s better than not having the money at all.
